About the Course

Prerequisites

Completion of Level 1 – Foundations or equivalent knowledge. Participants should already understand basic drone controls and FPV safety.

About the Course

This course is designed to transform beginners into capable FPV engineers and operators. Students will learn how to assemble, configure, and maintain FPV drones for both training and combat applications. The program emphasizes practical, hands-on learning with real combat-tested workflows.

Schedule (subject to change)

  • Days 1–2: Review of FPV basics, introduction to engineering principles, electronics safety.

  • Days 3–4: Drone assembly — frames, motors, ESCs, wiring, soldering practice.

  • Days 5–6: Flight controllers, firmware (Betaflight/iNav), tuning, troubleshooting.

  • Days 7–8: Payload integration, signal systems, counter-EW considerations.

  • Day 9: Full mission build — from parts to flight-ready drone.

  • Day 10: Qualification exam and graduation.

Requirements

  • Valid passport and clearance for travel to Ukraine.

  • Personal travel/health insurance required.

  • Mandatory personal gear: goggles, gloves, uniforms/boots, tactical clothing, tools if preferred.

Equipment Provided

All drone parts, soldering kits, controllers, simulators, and test drones provided by Ghosts Academy.

Meals

Three meals per day included (canteen, field kitchen, or rations).

Accommodation

Rotating lodging:

  • Tents during field training,

  • Guest houses near the workshop,

  • Hotels for preparation and recovery phases.

Duration & Group Size10 days, full-time. Up to 16 participants. Instructor-to-student ratio: 1:4.

Certificate

Graduates receive the Ghosts Academy Certificate – FPV Operator Level 2: Engineering & Systems.

Safety

All training in secure Kyiv region locations. Safety standards enforced at all times.

Transfers

Secure escorted transfers from Warsaw, Poland, including border crossing support.

Ghosts Academy Instructors

Training is conducted by Ghosts Academy instructors specializing in FPV engineering, drone systems, and battlefield integration. These are Ukrainian combat veterans with extensive hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and deploying FPV drones in real combat.
