A first aid and survival course in case of a rocket or aviation strike for the TV channel "Freedom".

The public organization "Ghosts of Ukraine" conducted a successful course on first aid and practical survival skills in case of a rocket or aviation strike for journalists of the Ukrainian TV channel "Freedom". During the course, which was held in the format of an intensive training, about 250 journalists who carry out their professional duties on the front line and in conflict zones were trained.

The course aimed to teach participants how to effectively provide first aid to the wounded when necessary and to teach journalists how to behave in emergency situations. Participants received practical skills in providing first aid and understanding the protocol of actions during a rocket or aviation strike. In addition, journalists were taught how to behave in extreme conditions and how to correctly use available protective equipment.

Experienced medical instructors from Australia, the United States, France, and Ukraine conducted the course, teaching participants according to modern military medical practice and business standards. Participants were also familiarized with the theoretical aspects of medical tactics, including the organization of emergency medical care and the preservation of medical records.

After successfully completing the course, journalists received certificates and will be able to use the knowledge and skills obtained during the course in the performance of their professional tasks. During the training, journalists understood that first aid can make a big difference in life-saving circumstances. Participants learned how to provide first aid in case of injury and other traumas on the battlefield, as well as how to effectively interact with emergency medical services and other rescue services.

In addition, participants of the course acquired skills in behavior and actions in case of a rocket or aviation strike. They learned how to quickly and effectively protect themselves and others from possible consequences of such events. This includes the ability to find hidden rooms and stay in them for an extended period of time.
